My father had a great respect for other cultures around the world, and always felt that one day, the entire world would function together in unity. From him I learned how to have respect for all of God's children on the planet. He acted in peaceful ways to all who met him, even though he had been a naval commander during major wartime. My beloved father.. John C. Heising, CDR USN...1925-2006
My father had a great respect for other cultures around the world, and always felt that one day, the entire world would function together in unity. From him I learned how to have respect for all of God's children on the planet. He acted in peaceful ways to all who met him, even though he had been a naval commander during major wartime. He practiced inner peace and was quiet, thoughtful and full of wisdom. A true officer and gentleman.
